Lowe admits Williams pace is "not what it should be"

Williams chief technical officer Paddy Lowe has admitted that his team's pace is nowhere near where it should be, as the British outfit sit bottom in the constructors' championship with just one point.

That one point was scored by Lance Stroll when he took advantage of the carnage that happened in front of him in Baku.

Lowe says that the car isn't as bad as it looks, but there are major problems that don't let the FW41 perform to its full powers.

"The pace is really quite bad," he said to a group of reporters in Barcelona.

After scoring that point in Baku, Williams missed out on scoring any points in the Spanish Grand Prix. This past week in testing in Barcelona, the team continued its struggles.

"We’re very busy doing a lot of work to fix those issues," Lowe continued.
