Lewis Hamilton has praised Max Verstappen for his driving in 2018. The duo has had plenty of duels throughout the season, including the attempted overtake in the United States Grand Prix.
Hamilton, 33, told Sky Sports how he is looking forward to having many battles with the young Dutchman in the future. In Brazil, Hamilton had some engine problems meaning he couldn't properly fight with him but is looking forward to the day they can.
"I did not have the idea to fight with problems in Brazil with him, but I'm looking forward to the day it does happen. Max has driven incredibly well this year and he is such a great young talent. Hopefully, we get many more duels," Hamilton said.
The British driver has plenty of opportunities to fight with younger drivers over the course of next season. Charles Leclerc will join Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari, while Red Bull is expecting Verstappen to be a title contender with new Honda engine.
