Leclerc confident about new season: 'This motivates everyone'

Charles Leclerc cannot wait to hit the track again. Unveiling the car for 2023, Leclerc addressed the excitement surrounding the start of the season.

The Monegasque was asked how he had prepared for the new season. Leclerc explained that in addition to his personal training in the gym and in the Italian Dolomites, he also prepared for the season with the simulator.

"Loads of preparation with the new car on the simulator. Training quite hard. Then we did one day on the 21 car which was good to get back to it a little bit. Now we are finally getting to the start of the season which is the most exciting time. Especially after so much work on this new project," Leclerc explained during the car launch.

"I can't wait," Leclerc continued enthusiastically. "2022 was a good step forward compared to 2020 and 2021. We finished second in the constructors and drivers championship. I am looking forward to this new car, I think we have done a great job working on it and tried to address the weaknesses on that car. It will hopefully be better. To goal is to win clearly. The feeling of winning is what motivates me and all the team."
