Charles Leclerc claims he doesn't feel sacrificed after he was told to let Sebastian Vettel pass during the early stages of the Chinese Grand Prix. The man from Monaco insists he understands why his team ordered the overtake.
For the third consecutive race, the Ferrari bosses gave a team order in favour of the older, four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. Leclerc's fathers aren't ruffled.
“No, we are a team. We tried to do the best possible job for everyone," Leclerc said to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
“It is always a difficult situation to deal with. At that moment I felt frustrated, especially when Sebastian passed me and saw that he was not faster and I damaged my tires. There is a statement behind it and I understand it," the Monegasque finally said.
