Lando Norris tips Nyck de Vries for 2019 Formula 2 title

Lando Norris has tipped Dutchman Nyck de Vries for the Formula 2 title. Last year's F2 runner-up believes Nyck de Vries is the man to keep an eye on after watching the Jerez and Barcelona tests.

“I have followed the tests a little and Nyck is clearly the man who is all about this year. So far he seems to be the strongest. He is also entering his third Formula 2 season, while he faces many drivers making his debut this season," the Brit said in an interview with motorsport.

Norris, a McLaren rookie in 2019, played his part in an exciting title battle last year. He expects this season to follow up and provide similar levels of close racing.

“There are also a few other boys with experience, such as Sette Camara, Latifi and Deletraz. There are quite a few fast drivers on the grid that can make it very difficult for De Vries in Bahrain. I think we will have exciting races this year," Norris added.
