Kvyat believes Toro Rosso have had pace at every race so far

With the midfield being so tight in 2019, Toro Rosso have surpassed expectations and Daniil Kvyat is very satisfied with the development of the team in the season so far.

Kvyat and teammate Alex Albon both finished inside the points at the Monaco Grand Prix, in P7 and P8 respectively which resulted in their best finish for the constructors this season. Kvyat has shown more maturity and focus in his third spell at the Red Bull junior team, whilst Albon who is in his rookie season has also impressed.

"Honestly, we've been good at each racetrack this year, we've done well in Australia, where I was one of the fastest cars on the track at one point, and then in Bahrain we understood what I like less about the car, we were able to improve that," Kvyat said in an interview on Motorsport-Total.

The Russian also admitted he's been pleased with the race pace across all six races so far, saying: "The pace has always been good, not just in the last races, we were always close to Q3, this time [in Monaco] we did it.
