Fastest lap Verstappen: "I just knew he was going to do it"

Max Verstappen made up as much as he could on Sunday in Saudi Arabia by finishing second after starting from P15. At the last minute, he also grabbed an extra point for the fastest race lap.

Red Bull Racing has ended the past two races with a one-two finish. Verstappen won the first, while Sergio Perez won the second. As the fastest race lap in Bahrain went to Pierre Gasly, the fastest race lap in the hands of one of the Red Bull drivers was also the immediate decider on who would take the lead in the championship.
