The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is the second race in 2021 and with the desire to return to normal, Imola hopes to allow even fans to attend. Fans who want to go, however, might have to be vaccinated.
The Grand Prix at the Imola circuit in 2020 was arranged as a replacement due to the mass reschuduling because of the coronavirus. In 2021, however, the historic circuit will be back on the calendar, and it is hoped that Italy will even allow fans to visit the circuit. This will not be easy, but Imola needs the income.

Vaccination a must at Imola

''The arrival of fans is not a small point, because it can make a difference to the costs we incur. If the fans are not allowed, then all the costs come to the organisation and that amounts to about two million euros," said regional councillor in Emilia Romagna, Daniele Marchetti.
Besides Marchetti, the president of the region, Stefano Bonaccini, said according to Corriere.it that vaccination is a must. ''They are thinking of only allowing vaccinated people in and there is no more talk of testing before the event."
