Yuki Tsunoda's sprint qualifying ended at the first hurdle as the Japanese driver could not set a final lap due to a misjudgment from Red Bull.
The Japanese driver could only finish P18 when the chequered flag fell, coming over the team radio in disbelief, saying, "I mean... What?!"
Esteban Ocon and Gabriel Bortoleto were behind, while Ollie Bearman and Franco Colapinto were the other two drivers who missed out on making it into the second session of sprint qualifying.

A very messy end to SQ1 occurred for Tsunoda, with the 25-year-old unable to set a final lap time after being let out of his garage with very little time remaining.
Such was the rush to get to the line before the chequered flag fell, the Japanese driver was forced off the track during the warm-up lap, leading to his early elimination.
It's yet another disaster in his stint as a Red Bull driver as the struggles continue behind thw wheel of the RB21, as talk about Tsunoda's future continues to grow as the 2025 season comes to an end.
