There is much speculation that Chase Carey will step down from his role as Chairman of Formula 1 and one of the candidates to replace him is Red Bull's Christian Horner. However, the Team Principal says he is committed to his team and does not even believe that Carey is leaving the role. When asked if he would consider taking the job Horner's response was clear.
"I enjoy racing," Horner said. "My commitment is with Red Bull I feel that there is a lot more I want to achieve from a competitive position and my objective is obviously to get Red Bull back into a consistent winning position where we can challenge for Championships.
"I am not aware that Chase is about to step down imminently. I think there is a lot of speculation but that's all it is.
"As far as I'm concerned I'm very happy doing what I'm doing and my focus at the moment is very much on getting Red Bull back into a competitive, consistently winning, situation."
It seems that if Carey is to step down, Formula 1 will have to find someone else to take the job unless Horner changes his mind.

Red Bull won the last race and are looking fast at Silverstone so the Brit is doing a good job and will hope to continue to see the team perform this season.
