Christian Horner and Toto Wolff have both weighed in on how they think Max Verstappen will do as a father, now that he and girlfriend Kelly Piquet have seen their baby girl, Lily be born into their family.
Replying to a question from GPblog, both Horner and Wolff said their piece regarding Verstappen's new role as a father.
"He's gonna be a very present father, I'm sure. You [have] got to get involved. You've got to get involved with the nappies. You've got to get involved in the middle of the night and so on," Horner said during the FIA Team Principals press conference ahead of the Sprint Qualifying of the Miami Grand Prix.
"It's the most wonderful thing, welcoming a new addition to any family. And life will be very different for him in many respects now as a parent," added Horner.

Horner and Wolff both point to Verstappen's baby's genes

"I'm just thinking of the genes of that child. It's quite incredible when you think of Verstappen and Piquet. If it was a racehorse, it would be worth a fortune. But it's going to make life a little different for him," Horner added.
Wolff, in turn, highlights how the Dutchman has been able to help raise his girlfriend Piquet's daughter, Penelope, and expresses confidence in Verstappen's abilities as a father.
"Obviously, we're all different. And for me, a child is born with a DNA and it's not a lot, I believe in nature, not so much nurture. But he's been as far, where what I can see great with his stepdaughter."
"I have no doubt he will be with his stepdaughter, and I have no doubt he will be fantastic, fantastic father," Wolff concluded.
