Lewis Hamilton says he isn't worried about the potential harmony upset in the Mercedes garage should Valtteri Bottas not stay at the team. The future of the second Mercedes seat remains in doubt to the public, with George Russell becoming a stronger candidate race by race.
Ever since 2017, Bottas and Hamilton have formed a very successful relationship which has won all the Constructors' World Championships. Bottas has often supported Hamilton in his bid to get the Drivers' World Championship each season. There are no certainties the exact same support will be in place if Russell joins the team, but Hamilton isn't worried.

Not a concern

"I don't worry about that," Hamilton said in the press conference ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix according to Motorsport-total.com. "He has already completed a race for the team and knows the environment well."
Hamilton's focus is on the 2021 season and the battle with Max Verstappen. A battle where he could need all the support he can possibly get from his teammate Bottas.
