Lewis Hamilton has admitted that the title won't come as soon or as easily as many are expecting, feeling it doesn't matter when it's achieved. The Brit has a 64 point lead over his teammate Valtteri Bottas currently and can win the drivers' championship next weekend in Mexico.
The six-time world champion has won his two previous victories in Mexico but isn't concerned if it doesn't happen.
I think for me it’s never been a case of always wanting to rush things,” Hamilton said.
Valtteri’s driven well all year long, he’s done a great job today and he will most likely do a very very solid job these next races, so we still have a battle, the fight continues."
Mercedes wrapped up the constructors' title last weekend thanks to Bottas' victory and Hamilton's podium in Japan.
