Lewis Hamilton was disappointed after the Hungarian Grand Prix. In Zandvoort, the Briton reflected on his struggles, explaining this is not the first time he has to difficulties in the car.
Hamilton was downbeat over the last Grand Prix ahead of the summer break at the Hungaroring, where he finished outside of the points.
After qualifying, the Briton said he's 'useless', and 'maybe Ferrari should change drivers' to Sky Sports.
Talking to GPblog among others, the seven-time world champion said there were 'many' times he struggled to make the car work.
"I never just got in and just won," he began.

"There were always difficult times. I don’t like to get complacent and be comfortable, and that’s really kind of where I was with a long-term relationship I had before [with Mercedes]."

"Taking this step into a team that I truly believe in – and I still believe in the potential here and what we can achieve together, and I think everyone on the team does," he continued.

"But no one succeeds without going through those tough patches. So I do welcome it. I’m looking forward to the sunnier days, for sure."
