Kevin Magnussen says Haas "need to work on race pace"

Kevin Magnussen does not understand why his Haas does not have the race pace to be competitive on Sundays. The team seem to be able to qualify well and their car looks fast throughout qualifying but when it comes to race day there is a clear drop off in pace.

“I didn’t have the pace today, so we need to work on the race pace,” said Magnussen to The Checkered Flag after the race. “Qualifying’s been good all year, so-far, we just need to sort out the race pace – it’s the most important one to be good at.”

Haas will hope that they can identify the issue and that they can re-launch their battle to dominante the midfield in Baku.
