Haas' Romain Grosjean believes that the team could score a strong points finish in Baku which would signify their progress since they joined F1. The Frenchman is yet to score points this year but his teammate Kevin Magnussen has shown the car has pace on the right day.
The American outfit has started 2018 in fine form and but for a freak pitstop disaster in Melbourne, the team have been one of the standout performers this season. Grosjean believes that a strong performance in Baku would solidify the team's position as one of the better midfield teams.
“I think the car is really good, and the team has done a good job,” Grosjean said.
“We haven’t had much luck yet. We’ve had three races where we were looking at points, and three times where we haven’t scored.
“Knowing that we’ve got a good baseline and a good car is very exciting. I know it’s going to come our way at some point. Hopefully, that’s going to be in Baku.”
