It has now emerged that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri's clash at the Canadian Grand Prix was not the sole over-the-limit moment. A fight took place as well at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Ferrari fan took to blows, as a Red Bull fan supposedly tried to break up the brawl. However, the Austrian team's fan is also seen throwing a few punches of his own.
Several bystanders are seen moving away from the place of events. As for the nature of the altercation and if it had anything to do with team preferences it is not yet known.

Formula 1 fans have often celebrated the respect present between supporters of different teams. In the comments under the video many speak about this behaviour not pertaining to Formula 1, with the comparison to football hoolingans being made as well.
The Formula 1 race itself also several over-the-limit incidents with Lance Stroll's irregular defense on Pierre Gasly, and Lando Norris' crash following contact with teammate Oscar Piastri. making the gap 22 points as F1 heads to the 11th round of the championship to take place in Austria next weekend.
During the safety car triggered by the McLarens clash,
George Russell and Max Verstappen also starred in a rather bizarre incident where the Mercedes driver appeared to brake and the Red Bull driver overtake the Briton under safety car conditions. This prompted Red Bull to lodge a protest against Russell, which the Briton himself dismissed as a waste of time, and
which Verstappen had no idea about. The protest was eventually thrown out and Russell's win stood.
