Force India starts moving all departments to one place

Force India is one of the few teams that doesn't have its entire operation in one facility, and the team is reportedly working on changing that sooner rather than later.
The main part of the Force India 'group' currently operates from Silverstone. However, there is a lack of space there, meaning that many of the aerodynamic facilities are six miles down the road in Brackley. It doesn't seem like much, but it's very unhandy if you simply want to test something and you have to transport the whole operation six miles rather than having it in one place.
That's why Force India want to move everything to Silverstone, but the lack of space makes that a difficult task.
"It's a massive operation that won't be fixed from one day to the next," Force India CTO Otmar Szafnauer explains to Motorsport.de.
"In the end, it's all about money.

"We don't mind investing, as long as it doesn't go at the cost of car development.
"We'll have to get some more sponsors if we want to do such a project."
That might be tough, seeing that Force India's performance has dropped off quite a bit compared to the last two years. Still, the team have shown to be very well-drilled and wise with their money so it might be worth an investment if you're a sponsor!
