The team formerly known as Force India is officially no longer, as the FIA have confirmed Racing Point will be the new name of the Lawrence Stroll-led investment team.
According to reports from RaceFans, Racing Point did try to get several companies involved as a title sponsor, including Lola, a former constructor. Lola has competed in the F1 but never established itself as a force, never coming back after failing to qualify in 1997 for the Australian Grand Prix.
Racing Point was initially just a working title when they passed that name on to the FIA in December 2018, but as of last Thursday, it's their official team name as well.
Reports have also suggested that the pink livery might also be coming to an end, as Racing Point has struck a deal with another sponsor other than BWT to change the livery to pink and blue.
