Luke Skipper will become the new Director of Communications and Public Affairs of the
FIA, the organisation announced on its official website. The Canadian worked for the second largest communications agency for seven years. Skipper has also previously worked at the Scottish Parliament and the European Parliament.
Skipper will join the organisation on 7 October as a professional with no less than seventeen years' experience in the field of communications and a career as a politician. Skipper will report to the CEO of the
FIA, a new role within the organisation. He will also lead a growing team within the Sport and Communications Division to develop a communications strategy to ensure the FIA becomes the global voice of motorsport and mobility.
