FIA can intervene again: 'That's a big difference'

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have their last chance to grab the world title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. The Dutchman starts from pole position, while Hamilton occupies the second grid spot. Emerson Fittipaldi gives both men, in conversation with the NOS, clear advice.
The former Formula 1 driver knows better than anyone what it is like to fight for the world championship until the last race. He had a similar fight with Clay Regazzoni, which he won. Fittipaldi realises how much pressure both Hamilton and Verstappen will be under.
He states in the interview that he enjoyed the race in Saudi Arabia, where the drivers gave nothing to each other. He saw a healthy battle there, but warns that it should not go over the limit. "It's going to be especially important for Max and Lewis to realise that they need to get to the finish line and then see if they've won," he points out.

Fittipaldi supports FIA in penalties

He then goes on to discuss the penalties handed out by the FIA in recent races. Fittipaldi believes these were justified. "We mainly think what drivers do, but the FIA knows what drivers do. That's a big difference."
