The FIA have called a special meeting with F1 technical chiefs over the safety of wing mirrors in the sport. The meeting will take place over the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
Mirrors have been in the limelight throughout the tripleheader. Mercedes brought an innovative design which many people thought would break regulations. While Sebastian Vettel was penalised for blocking Carlos Sainz on a hot lap.
Because of these incidents which indicate drivers can't actually use the mirrors properly, the FIA have called for a meeting that will discuss future mirror rules for the remainder of the 2018 season and 2019.
What do you think about mirrors? Have they always been an issue in Formula one or is it getting worse? Let us know in the comments!
