Ferrari announced the F1-75 for the first time on Thursday morning. The new car could count on a lot of enthusiasm from the outside world. Enrico Cardile also looks positively at the car Ferrari is bringing to the track.
The head of the chassis departement was closely involved in the creation of the F1-75 in recent months. The new regulations forced the teams to design the car in a certain way. However, according to Cardile, Ferrari mainly looked at the benefits of the new concept, he told Ferrari in a press release.
"Aerodynamics was definitely our number one priority," he explained after the car's launch. "We approached it with an open mind and seized the opportunity of the rule changes to go in many different directions, bucking the trends of recent years. This open-mindedness has extended to the development of the suspension: the new rules have imposed a general rethink."

Ferrari looks to Mercedes and Red Bull

In this way, the Italian racing team hopes to move closer to Mercedes and Red Bull Racing in the coming years. Both teams also already came out with their new car, although the Austrians still kept much of it a secret.
