F1 driver ‘stoked’ by Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian romance rumours

Liam Lawson was keen to address the rumours that have begun circulating in recent weeks about an alleged dating relationship between Hamilton and Kim Kardashian.

Speaking on the Gypsy Tales podcast, the New Zealand driver revealed that he had discussed the rumours with his girlfriend, adding that if they were true, it would be a great thing for the sport.

"Hannah has been talking about this today. Like literally today, she was like, 'Liam, Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are dating now,'" he said.

After asking the host whether there was any truth to the rumours, Lawson then added: "It's great for the sport, to be fair. Great for the sport, probably. The sport has grown so much in the last few years. I don't know how it can be bad for the sport."

"If it's legit, that's great. I'm stoked for them, but so many things come out that are just not (true). 90% of what you read or maybe even more, because I get people texting me like, it's my family, sometimes my parents even like, 'Liam!' and I'm like, 'It's not true.' Just honestly, stop reading it. It's not true.'"

Hamilton breaks silence on Kim Kardashian dating rumours

Speculation over a possible romance between the seven-time world champion and the well-known American model and businesswoman intensified further after the two were reportedly seen together at the Super Bowl on 8 February.

Speaking at the end of his first day on track in Bahrain, the Briton chose to keep his response brief when asked about the rumours by GPblog, stressing that he prefers not to discuss matters related to his private life.
