AlphaTauri: 'Excellent feedback from De Vries and Tsunoda'

Nyck de Vries has completed his first pre-season tests and should now be ready for the 2023 Formula 1 season. AlphaTauri is happy with the good preparations and feedback from its drivers.

So says technical director Jody Egginton. The Briton stresses that the testing, which took place over just three days, was a particularly busy period. In a press statement, Egginton says: " I'm very pleased to see some good progress being made in understanding our package and the car running very reliably"

Egginton continued about the drivers, " Both Yuki [Tsunoda] and Nyck have delivered a good level of performance, giving excellent feedback and pushing the engineers." Despite the busy schedule mentioned by the engineer, AlphaTauri managed to cover the most kilometres in Bahrain. De Vries' team was able to complete the entire programme and minimise time in the garage. It seems a perfect preparation for the Dutchman.
