Romain Grosjean is fortunate to be in good health after his horror crash at the Bahrain Grand Prix. It has now been reported that a doctor has now revealed a few more details.

Grosjean's visor melted

Grosjean was thankfully able to escape the flames following his collision with a barrier after contact between himself and Daniil Kvyat. His car caught fire and so Grosjean had to maneuver himself out of his car very quickly.
According to the Daily Mail, a doctor reported afterwards that Grosjean's visor had even melted. The Frenchman climbed out of his car himself and where his whole suit is fireproof for 20 seconds, his visor was not. Fortunately, Grosjean survived the crash, because Haas' driver managed to climb out of his car quickly and was also helped out of his car by the doctors.
