Max Verstappen is still currently racing with Red Bull, but rumors about his future are growing increasingly frequent. The Dutchman has an exit clause that could allow him to leave the team. Former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has weighed in on the decision Verstappen should make.
The former Formula 1 boss, in addition to giving his verdict on Lewis Hamilton’s chances of winning an eighth title, also addressed the thorny issue surrounding Max Verstappen, whose future at Red Bull still remains uncertain.
‘’I think he should be where he is happy, wherever that may be'', he told Sky Sports in the paddock.
''As long as he is happy he will continue to perform as well as he does now, because he is not someone who plays with things, right? I mean, he is very straightforward in what he says and does. I would like to see him stay where he is now, but yes, we will have to wait."
