Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have collided in Canada leaving Norris out of the race.
Norris and Piastri were locked in a close quarter battle for P4 with none of them yielding an inch.
The Briton went for a move up the inside at the hairpin, but the Australian saw it coming. As they made their way down the backstraight, Piastri braked later at the final chicane and managed to keep the position.

Down the main straight then, chaos ensued. Piastri took the inside line to defend from Norris, but the Briton was not deterred and got too close to the wall, biting the grass which caused him to lose control of his MCL39 colliding with his teammate and then crashing into the wall, effectively ending his race.
Norris then took to the radio to accept full blame for the crash: "I'm sorry. All my bad. All my fault. Stupid from me."
