Coronel is furious: "Where should he go now?!"

Tom Coronel is furious at the management of Racing Point. According to the WTCR driver, Racing Point should never have pushed aside the Mexican. Coronel believes the German driver did have his best time in Formula 1.

"The flop is Perez. He first got the confidence at Racing Point that nothing is wrong," says Coronel at Ziggo Sport's Formula 1 Cafe. "He really saved the team and now the deal he had is just toilet paper, because he is so pushed aside."

Coronel disagrees with Racing Point to choose Vettel. "Because Vettel is more commercially important. In that case I think Vettel had his 'moment of fame'. It is time to go. And I know he's still good, but Perez belongs in F1, where should he go now?!"

In Formula 1 there are only a few seats left for next season. Perez seems to have the best chance of finding a seat at Haas F1 or Alfa Romeo. For the Mexican it will mean a big step back now that Racing Point has built a very strong car which they will take to 2021.
