"Even in the last two weeks we onboarded 50 people to the team. We are building a ship while we are sailing it.
- Dan Towriss"We are pretty much on schedule," Towriss told Sky Sports F1. "We have good weeks and bad weeks because it's not this linear progress.
"We feel pretty good about the progress that's been made to this point."
The American executive then revealed the team already has a 60% scale model car in the wind tunnel, coupled with a 50 staff members addition to their ranks in only the last two weeks.
"We have had a car in the wind tunnel, the 60 per cent scale model, for some time. We have been [using the wind tunnel] in Cologne and the team has been hard at work.
"Even in the last two weeks we onboarded 50 people to the team. We are building a ship while we are sailing it.
As their F1 debut draws near, Towriss assures the team are working on all fronts, from the team's technical infraestructure to the company's structure, to loading equipment into the containers that will find themselves in Melbourne next year ready for the first race.
"All these pieces are coming together as we speak," the Cadillac CEO concluded.

Cadillac set for F1 2026 entry
The team have so far managed to secure a power unit supplier for the 2026 and 2027 seasons in Ferrari ahead of General Motors' entry as manufacturer in 2028.
They've also locked in their driver line-up in the form of veterans Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez,
who's arrival at the American team didn't come without a twist, according to the team's principal, Graeme Lowdon.
So all is in place at Cadillac, as the clock ticks down on the eve of this regulatory mandate, before it welcomes a revolutionary technical rulebook next season, along with the ambitious American team.
