Renault's Nico Hülkenberg has received a ten-place penalty for next week's Italian Grand Prix after causing a massive accident at the start of the Belgian Grand Prix, stewards have confirmed.
The German completely missed the brake point of the first corner of the race, causing him to smash into Fernando Alonso, who was sent flying and took out three more cars in the process.
Hülkenberg already admitted the carnage was his fault, but the stewards have shown him no mercy. He had a penalty this weekend in Belgium as well, as he opted to swap his complete power unit ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.
The German will also receive three penalty points on his racing licence. Twelve of those will mean he'll get suspended for a race, but it hasn't gotten that far yet for him.
Maybe don't do such a Hulk-smash next race, eh Nico?
