Bottas sells his Mercedes, the internet jokes

Valtteri Bottas has been under fire again this season and recently it was even rumoured that he would be replaced by George Russell before the end of the season. The fact that Valtteri Bottas has put his Mercedes AMG-GT S up for sale today is of course food for thought.

Via his Twitter account, Bottas let it be known that he is selling his own Mercedes AMG-GT S. The car has a top speed of 310 km/h and 522 hp. From 0 to 100 km can be done in 3.8 seconds. You have to dig deep into your pockets, because it costs 190,000 euros on the Finnish website. Autot.tori.fi.

If you buy the car, however, that's not the only thing you get. On Twitter, the Mercedes driver promises to personally hand it over to the buyer and you also get a day of karting at the Valtteri Bottas Racepark in Lahti, Finland. The Finn will also share some of the stories behind the car.

With all the rumours surrounding Bottas' role at Mercedes' Formula One team, this call was obviously asking for some jokes. "George Russel, are you interested?", "Does he often get stuck in second gear?" "I think Lewis has the same car, it's just a bit faster" and "If this doesn't say you're leaving Mercedes, I don't know what does", are just some of the responses.
