Bottas aware of Red Bull Racing's threat in straight lines

Valtteri Bottas has commented on the improvement of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing car in recent times, knowing that the car is now faster than the Mercedes in a straight line.

"We knew that in Brazil they would have been strong, but I think they were more than we expected, especially on the straight," Bottas told RaceFans.

"Now they have not only a good car in the corners, but also on the obverse they are faster than us.

"If we watch the whole season, it is clear that Red Bull has made solid progress. So I expect them to continue in this direction also in 2020 and, consequently, we will have a much stricter battle."

Despite this, it's still Mercedes who are well clear at the top of the standings, and champions, while Red Bull Racing back in third-place.
