Bernie Ecclestone says Niki Lauda will be back with Mercedes in Abu Dhabi!

Bernie Ecclestone has reported that Niki Lauda is aiming to be back with Mercedes for the final Grand Prix of the season. Lauda left hospital last week and is working hard on his rehabilitation.

Ecclestone says that Lauda called him after he left the hospital to give him an update on his wellbeing. The former F1 boss explained this to Swiss newspaper Blick.

"It is going well under conditions. He said he feels good and just needs to take a lot of pills. His secret plan is to be back in Abu Dhabi. it is unbelievable what Niki has had to go through," Ecclestone said.
