Beitske Visser has won the second race of the new W Series which was held in Belgium. British drivers Jamie Chadwick and Alice Powell finished second and third in what was an exciting race, continuing the positive start of the new racing series.
Visser managed to get ahead of Chadwick who had qualified on pole at the start of the race and drove to the finishing line with relative ease. Chadwick and Powell had a great battle for second place all the way until the last lap with Chadwick just managing to stay ahead.
The start of the race was dramatic with cars getting stuck on the grid, causing collisions and a safety car to be deployed.
The results mean that Chadwick stays at the top of the leaderboard after two rounds of the six-race championship with the next race taking place at Misano, Italy, on June 8.
