Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has praised his driver Sebastian Vettel, saying that "the real Vettel" has come out again in the final races of the season as the German finished second in Abu Dhabi.
The German lost out on the championship two races ago in Mexico, when his rival Lewis Hamilton made his fifth title official as Vettel mathematically couldn't catch him any more after that race.
Still, even though he's missed out on another championship, Arrivabene was quick to praise the German after a strong outing in Abu Dhabi that saw him finish second. Behind Hamilton.
"In the last few races, we've seen the real Sebastian," the Italian was quoted by Motorsport.com.
"Every human being has their moments of ups and downs.

"It is useless to point the finger at someone in particular because we expect more from ourselves. We win and lose together, we came close but we lost out in the end."
Finally, Arrivabene ended on a positive note, saying that having two drivers finishing second and third in the championship is a positive thing to build on.
"We have drivers second and third in the standings. It only counts to be first, that's true, but it's better than being third and fourth or fourth and fifth."
