There's no stopping Alonso, who spends his free time racing as well

Ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, Formula 1 drivers have a week off. While some drivers use this time off to get out and about, Fernando Alonso is doing exactly the opposite.

Even in his spare time, Alonso prefers to have a steering wheel in his hands. This is evident from a post the 41-year-old Spaniard made on his social media. In the images, the Aston Martin driver can be seen racing on his own go-kart circuit in Asturias, Spain, the same region where he grew up.

"Back to action," reads the caption to the post. An event will soon take place at the circuit aimed at helping young talents on their way to a racing career. Children aged 7 to 11 will then have the chance to race in a kart at the circuit of the two-time F1 world champion.
