Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz previously joined the group of drivers who still find the rules somewhat confusing after the incident between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in Brazil, but at the same time believes that further talks will take place after this season to provide more clarity.

Speaking after the Qatar Grand Prix, the Spaniard believes the rules are still unclear, despite the drivers' briefing in which race director Michael Masi tried to clarify. "In terms of the approach in the race, it's still not very clear," he said in conversation with Autosport.com.

He continued: "We have talked about this many times, because before every race we don't know what exactly is going to happen. It looks like there will be a deeper conversation in the winter about how we will race. That will hopefully bring some more clarity."

McLaren driver Lando Norris feels that while some aspects of the rules have been clarified, others still remain vague. "It's clear that not every incident is the same, although sometimes it looks that way. It's difficult to know what the different circumstances are, but I think most things have been clarified," said the Briton.
