Before the Belgian Grand Prix you can rarely predict what the weather will do. In the Ardennes it can rain on one part of the circuit while on the other side it is still dry. For this weekend the chances are high that there will be rain.

This weekend the Belgian Grand Prix marks the start of the second half of the Formula 1 season. It is also the first race in a Triple Header with Zandvoort and Monza. Three European circuits in August and September, and that means that the weather conditions can vary enormously.

Rain at Spa

According to Weather.com there is a pretty good chance that there will be a lot of rain this weekend in Spa. On Friday the chance of rain is 85 percent, on Saturday it is 78 percent and on Sunday 57 percent. So it will decrease during the weekend, but showers are expected the whole weekend.

Besides the showers, the low temperatures are also notable. For the entire weekend a maximum of 16 degrees is expected. This of course means that any rain will stay on the cold asphalt for longer. Whether the rain will actually fall remains to be seen.
