Kevin Magnussen was the topic of conversation in Miami last weekend. Not in a positive way, but because he accumulated no less than five penalty points on his licence in Miami. His total now stands at 10 points. After the Grand Prix, he was not at all pleased with the way things were going.

Magnussen is known for racing hard, but in Miami he went over the line several times. During Saturday's sprint race, the Dane was in a long battle with Lewis Hamilton. In this battle, Magnussen cut the chicane, collided with the Mercedes and also pushed Hamilton off the track. This eventually earned him a 35-second time penalty and three penalty points.

On Sunday, the Haas driver had made a mess again. A crash with Logan Sargeant earned the Dane a 20-second time penalty and two penalty points. This time penalty was then not carried out properly, giving him another drive-through penalty after the race. This will be converted into a 20-second penalty after the race.

Magnussen heavily dissatisfied

After the Miami Grand Prix, Magnussen was unhappy with the whole weekend. He called it a "hellish weekend". He was then asked about his take on the crash with Sargeant. To that, he said he 'I better not comment'. The Haas driver says he is not happy with how things went. After that, he did not respond to the questions asked.
