It seems that the third circuit to host a sprint race this season has been announced. After Silverstone earlier this season and Monza later this season the third and final sprint race will take place in Brazil.

Sources tell us Motorsport.com. It has been rumoured for some time that Brazil would be one of the favourites to host the final sprint race, but now it seems that Brazil has been chosen.

And there is more good news because the race might be postponed for a week in order to reduce the travel problems to the country itself. That chance is now more than 50%, and by August 26 at the latest, it will be decided if there will be a postponement of one week. The Grand Prix would then not be held on 7 but 14 November.

100% capacity

At least that is what the organisation hopes. Despite the fact that we saw last week that nothing is certain until a final decision is made, it seems to be looking good. So Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and the rest of Formula 1 seem to be racing at Interlagos with filled grandstands.

On paper, the race in Brazil is the fourth last race of the season. However, Australia has already been cancelled, while Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi will close out the season.
