Perez after first test weekend with Red Bull: "Satisfied with my test"

Sergio Perez has had a successful test weekend with Red Bull Racing. They put in a lot of miles and have collected a lot of data, which was the goal of the test days in Bahrain.

Perez satisfied despite short pre-season

"It feels crazy that the pre-season is over," Perez said after Sunday's test.

"It feels like it has only just started. This was the shortest preseason in my whole career. The time to test is very short, but we are improving every time we are in the car."

Perez also says he is becoming more and more comfortable in the car. "We've tried different setups, and now we have to look ahead to the race weekend. The conditions can be very different then, now it was a bit tricky with the wind," he continued.

"All in all, I'm happy with the test I drove," Perez says. Is he ready for the challenge with Red Bull? "I have no other choice," he laughed. "But we're going to make the most of it and start patiently step by step, and then the rest will come naturally."
