OFFICIAL: Portuguese Grand Prix is the third race on 2021 F1 calendar

The Portuguese Grand Prix has been on the calendar with reservations for some time, but official sources now report that the 2021 Portuguese Grand Prix will be the third race on the Formula One calendar. Another race will be held at the Portimao circuit.

The Portuguese Grand Prix returns to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, and with that, the calendar for the coming season seems (for now) completely filled. Vietnam and China disappeared from the calendar and Imola replaced them. Portugal was already on the list but was still uncertain until Friday.

The Portuguese Grand Prix made a return in 2020 during the corona pandemic when many circuits could not organise a race. At the Portimao circuit, this was possible, and there was a great race to see. Hopefully, this will be the case again in 2021.
