With Haas' decision not to renew the contract of both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, it is unclear what the drivers will do next year. Formula 1 seems difficult, as most of the seats have already been filled.

Asked about his plans for next year, Romain Grosjean thinks about the IndyCar series, although he's not exactly looking forward to the ovals. In addition to the IndyCar, Formula E and WEC are what he is thinking about.

Renewed interest in IndyCar

The fact that the IndyCar series is now an option for Grosjean is partly due to the fact that there are only four oval races on the calendar for 2021.
"There are fewer and fewer seats available in Formula 1, so it's getting tougher and tougher. But I've accepted that, and I'm now looking at other projects where I can win races," says Grosjean to Racer.com.

"I do miss having a competitive car. That's something I want in return. Formula E is an option. I'm also looking at endurance races at Le Mans and in the US. I said earlier that I have no interest in the US, but there is less oval racing than I thought. I find ovals quite scary, but at the same time tempting. We're going to see it," says the Frenchman.
