Last Sunday Max Verstappen entered the highest step of the podium and today the Dutchman is already speaking to the press before the Spanish Grand Prix. The Dutchman is looking forward to the battle in Barcelona.

Tyre management

"I have a lot of feeling and experience with the Pirelli tires. You have to be careful on the tires. We're gonna see how it goes this weekend. The temperature is good for us, but we're going to do it", said Verstappen at the FIA press conference prior to the Spanish Grand Prix according to Formule1.nl.
"We still have to improve ourselves, especially on Saturday. It was a strange weekend. The softer tyres worked in our favour and I'm happy with where I stand in the championship", the Red Bull Racing driver continues.

Partymodes

Verstappen is in favour of banning party mode. "We'll see what happens. We're not allowed to touch the car after qualifying, we're only allowed to change the engine modes. So in itself quite good that this is going to happen", the Dutchman concludes.
