Kvyat could not train in the simulator of AlphaTauri

Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat were each on the podium once in 2019 and were the only midfielders on the podium together with Carlos Sainz. The two hope to reach those highlights again this year.

''Everyone at Honda is working hard to make our package even better and the winter tests went very well. We went to Australia with a lot of confidence because we were sure we could perform well there'', says Kvyat in the team preview. The duo expects a lot from Honda.

Kvyat not in the simulator

''The track is short, but it has all the bends you can think of. That's why it's also a good race to be first, because then everyone knows immediately how they are doing'', says Kvyat who said he couldn't test in the simulator of AlphaTauri because of the flight restrictions and therefore has to start from scratch in Austria.

''It's nice that we can finally start again and I can't wait to get behind the wheel with a smile. The next ten weeks are going to be very intense, but after that long wait it can't start fast enough for me'', concludes Gasly.
