The Ferrari culture is not well understood by the outside world according to Sebastian Vettel. Where media and fans see a lot of passion and emotion that can hurt their on track performance, the German sees it very differently.

''The power of Ferrari is precisely the passion one has for the brand. This ensures that everyone goes to work with a lot of energy and that also ensures that the myth around Ferrari is maintained. Internally it's very Italian, with feather rules and traditions. It's nice that they have kept that'', says Vettel in conversation with Motorsport.com.

The tradition at Ferrari

According to Vettel, the culture is often misunderstood. ''I think people often misinterpret it. They look at Italy and expect a certain image. However, I see many progressive people within the company and great talents who are given the opportunity to be creative. It's a shame that we can't prove that with results.''

It remains Vettel's dream to lead this team to greater success. ''We continue to work hard and believe that we can achieve our goal. The mission remains the same: We want to go to the top and as long as we're not there we still have work to do'', concludes Vettel with combative words.
