Max Verstappen says winning titles "all depends on the car"

Max Verstappen says that Lewis Hamilton is beatable, it just all depends on what sort of car Aston Martin Red Bull Racing will provide him. Verstappen showed his potential in 2019, winning three races and showing incredible guts and determination to get the best results he can.

Unfortunately for him, he wasn't able to mount a title challenge, with his Red Bull Racing car off the pace of Mercedes and Ferrari, although he did beat both Scuderia drivers in the final standings.

In an interview with Ziggo Sport, the Dutchman said that most of the grid could win the title in a Mercedes, and he believes that Hamilton is not invincible.

Verstappen said: “I am just confident to say that it would have been the same for me if I had been in that car.

"Sixty-percent of the drivers in the field would become F1 world champion in a Mercedes. It all just depends on the car.

“He is definitely very good and is one of the best Formula 1 drivers of all time but he can be beaten."
