Todt wants more opportunities for mistakes in F1!

FIA president Jean Todt has suggested that putting drivers on their limits more often would improve the spectacle of Formula 1.

Todt, who used to be team boss at Ferrari, also thinks that telemetry should be banned, along with anti-stall systems.

F1 has been subject to a lot of criticisms in recent years, with people calling the races boring and uninteresting.

According to Globo, Todt said: “We have to consider the list of all of these driver aids. We want more chances for a driver to make a mistake. Think about when Michael probably lost the championship in 1998.

“We want races to be less predictable, and for that, we must get rid of telemetry."
