The 2024 Qatar GP is about to start. While the World Drivers' Championship title was decided last weekend, the fight for the constructors still continues. After Verstappen received a 1 place grid penalty, George Russell is starting on pole for the second week in a row. Follow all of the action in the liveblog below.
F1 Weekend in Qatar
The weather is currently a pleasant 20 degrees Celsius, while the wind is supposed to get up to 15 MPH. After being promoted, George Russell will start in the first grid sport because Verstappen received a grid penalty. All eyes will be on the two constructor battles for P1 and P6. Only 6 points separate Haas, Alpine, and RB, while McLaren and Ferrari have a bigger gap of 30 points. Everything points to a one-stop strategy for this race, but anything could happen due to the gravel traps and high-speed corners.
